Janice Kalin is an organizational psychologist who specializes in career and work consulting. Her expertise incorporates career counseling, assessment for selection and development, and coaching. Janice's clients come from the fields of consumer products, higher education, financial services, retail, health care and telecommunications, as well as the non-profit sector.

Her professional life began as a career counselor for young adults in a federal employment program. She then proceeded to college counseling in several Twin Cities institutions. During her doctoral studies she was hired as a senior psychologist in a private consulting firm. Upon completion of her studies, she continued working for the firm until forming her own company in 2002.

Janice has been licensed as a psychologist in the State of Minnesota since 1984. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from St. Thomas University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota.

Janice is an active or past member of a number of community boards, a past volunteer with the Minneapolis Public Schools and a current volunteer with WomenVenture. She enjoys following the exploits of her 3 adult daughters and son-in-law. An avid hiker and traveler, she has recently taken up rock climbing, although she keeps closer to the ground biking and walking the lakes of Minneapolis.
